Rajee Sood over at Styling & Design with Rajee Sood is having an online tea party!
Considering she is one of my favourite design bloggers I had to participate.
Lets peep into the bright and cozy nook in my balcony. How about sitting here to have a nice cup of tea?
Reminds me of a nice, pleasant and a li'l lazy spring day!
Some of my favourite springy sweet pea hand lotion and Good Earth whole wheat methi crackers. The cushions also remind me of spring. Cushions courtesy The Red River.
And a light and funny book to go along a cup of tea. What more could I ask for?
I am also sending this favourite recipe of mine for banana walnut muffins to go along with a cup of tea.
Enjoy!
Its mid-week already. Yay!
Update - I just realized that another of my favourite blogs The Key Bunch is having a Spring Summer Fest Carnival. So I am going to link this up there too! :)
Ohh, woww!.. Lovely one. Cushions colours, so fresh , just out this spring. Nice tea set. And the best part, the plants around, they are so much welcoming kinda. So simple, so chic, so elegant.. very nice. I would love to sit in such a cozy sitting area and have my cuppa saffron tea.. :). Have a great time !!
ReplyDeleteLots of love and best wishes

ReplyDeleteHow lovely, Simran! Thanks for linking up! This is my kind of tea setting, and the fact that you have hand lotion and Sophie Kinsella for company makes you almost my decor twin!
ReplyDeleteThank you Rajee, Patty, Anu and Sharon!!
ReplyDeleteTo say that I am inspired by all of you would be totally fair :)
And all of you are welcome anytime!
Sharon - I love Sophie Kinsella and the whole Shopaholic series. and hand lotions are maybe my only splurge in the cosmetics dept ;)
Wow Simran. Love your balcony and your home as well. Am curious to learn how do you manage to do all this with a toddler in tow! And how on earth do you manage to keep everything so dust free in India?
ReplyDeleteThanks Divya! The toddler goes to school for 3 to 4 hrs a day so that gives me time. We are on the 10th floor of a high rise so dust is comparitively less. And I am not going to show anybody the dirty corners or cupboards of my house! *wink wink*
ReplyDeleteBeautiful setting, thanks for linking in the party..Hey, those wheat crackers, did you make them? Please share the recipe..
ReplyDeleteThanks Rekha! I didn't make the wheat crackers... they are from Good Earth :) Picked those up from the local super mart.
ReplyDeleteSimran, these pictures are like they are out of a magazine...such a gorgeous outdoor space. I would love to join you for tea in your balcony:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Neha!! You are welcome any time :) I am still an amateur when it comes to photographs, long way to go.
