From the far east

Here is my beautiful find from the Second to None Flea Market. Ahem! shall we please note the beautiful velvet(y), satin(y), vibrant blue box that it came in :) 




These are a set of 4 handle-less tea cups. I can use them for tea, sake or our very own filter coffee too. They'll keep my hands warm and senses pleased.


The lady who sold them to me had bought these from Temple Street in Hong Kong. Here is how they look on my console table.



Beautiful aren't they? I love the combination of red and green and the pretty oriental pattern. And the fact that they come with their own bases and lids. Different. Unique.

    Thanks Uma! I need to shuffle something around the house after some time...sinceI can't experiment with the overall layout too much so the console table suffers the brunt of it ;)
